If you don't have a hobby or practice that enhances your lifestyle, I suggest you find one as soon as possible! With so many "problems" being publicized via television and social media every day, it can be easy to linger on the negative, focus on the bad, and destroy our confidence and joy. 2. Gratitude Journal. Every morning, I begin the day with gratitude. I acknowledge all of the things, major and minor, that are contributing to the greater picture of my overall mission. One way to maintain a life and attitude of gratitude is by keeping a gratitude journal. In paragraph or list form, or whatever way you choose, write down what you are grateful for. Need help? Here are 6 tips to create your own gratitude journal.
3. Visualization Journal. What do you see happening in your future? OR actually, what would you like to see happen in your future? Strengthening your focus on what you would like to see happen can be as simple as putting it all down on paper. Using a blank journal, write out your wildest visions in detail, and for added effect, use photos or magazine clippings.
4, Intentions Journal. Around the time of my birthday this year, I made various intentions about how I wanted my "new year" to be. To go back and reference the intentions for various areas of my life (business, professional, financial, physical body, relationship, etc.) I have begun writing them all down in detail. Take your time and write out the intentions you have for every area of your life, then go back and read them religiously.
5. Goals Journal. So you have goals, right? Don't allow them to just linger in your head where they will fade and be forgotten. When reading Brian Tracey's book "No Excuses", I learned a helpful method to journal major goals daily. This method is simply listing your major goals every single day. For convenience, I carry a small pocket-sized journal and write out my major goals daily.
6. Progress Journal.
We all take different journeys during our life experience. Whether temporary, trying, or exciting, documenting the journey can help connect you to your innermost thoughts and feelings, and give you insight to the future. As you make progress through any journey, write down your authentic feelings, emotions, and challenges. Overtime, opening this line of communication with yourself will guide you to greater progress.
